Festival Facts
- Children aged 7-11 can enter (with parent/guardian permission). If selected, you must attend in person with a responsible adult. It's all free.
- The festival will be held on Saturday 11th November 2017, 10am-4pm (British Summer Time).
- It will be held at the Mitchell Arts Centre, City Centre, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England (UK), ST1 4HG.
We have free animation workshops to help anyone who wants to get started. These take place over the summer holidays on Tuesday mornings 10am-noon at Wavemaker at Mitchell Arts Centre.
Submissions to the "Stop Start!" International Children's Animation Festival are now open. We accept ANY style of animation, including stop-frame, modelling clay, computer coded. The animation just needs to be suitable for children to view and needs to be created by one or more children aged 7-11 (it's fine for adults can help the young animators).
